A film I saw quite early on from Wellsmackedseat is the story called the Dancing Shoes.  It’s a ten clip extravaganza featuring three lovely young ladies and two of Bellington Academy’s fine strict disciplinarians – Principal, Miss Svenson herself and the Domestic Science teacher, the formidable Miss Sullivan. It is also the first film to feature Charlotte Appleby who has become infamous since then as the naughtiest headgirl in the country.  The 1950s were a time when rules for young ladies (and gentlemen for that matter) were far more restrictive than they are nowadays. And that’s the beauty of the Bellington fictional scenes.  They take you back to the time when having fun often had to be a clandestine activity and if you got caught you paid a high price. That’s precisely what we find when Diana, Charlotte and Marianne, three giggly girls come in late for a secret trip to a dance.  They are all dressed up and in great spirits and guess what comes to mind, suggested by naughty Diana, but to have a glass of Miss Svenson’s sherry from the Bellington staff pantry of course.  Well naturally you can guess what happens – they are caught in mid-session by an extremely disappointed Miss Sullivan.

Miss Sullivan wastes no time and gives each of the dancing girls a good hand spanking over her knee.  What I love about this film is the contrast between the three super young women involved. Red-headed Marianne is first and Miss Sullivan builds a beautiful red glow on her delicate but well endowed bottom.  There are some wonderful camera angles here, especially right behind the hand as it spanks Marianne’s bouncing cheeks.

Then it’s Charlotte’s turn. Very shy and new, blonde-haired Charlotte whimpers and ‘ows’ her way though her spanking beautifully.  It really makes you feel for this poor young lady, led astray it seems by the other older hands.

And then it’s Diana, last but not least. Beautiful raven-haired Diana played by Bonnie Belotti has a very athletic and well toned round bottom but she still feels the spanks Miss Sullivan rains down on her poor cheeks. Some fantastic facial expressions are captured at one or two points, which I adore.

Well they might have been hand spanked over the knee but Miss Sullivan is nothing if not thorough.  The girls each receive more hand spanking bending over the pantry table.  Marianne again is first to be chastised and is later joined by Charlotte and finally Diana.  The filming is predominantly from behind here and to see all three lined up is a delight.

As you might expect, Miss Sullivan as the Domestic Science teacher is in her element in the kitchen.  Her thoughts turn to what other implements might be useful to ensure these disgraceful stop-out dancers and clandestine drinkers learn their lesson. Of course, a lovely long wooden spoon.  In reverse order, in turn Diana, Charlotte and Marianne are each given a very stingy spoon spanking before bed.  Look out for those lovely little end scenes of each girl’s cheeks as they ascend the stairs. Beautiful filming and tastefully done.

It is now the next morning and Miss Sullivan has felt she must tell Headmistress Miss Svenson what has happened (possibly fearful for her own position should Miss Svenson find out separately!).  Anyway as the main instigators, Diana and Marianne are called into Miss Svenson’s office – still in their pyjamas – to account for themselves.  Charlotte has apparently escaped further correction as the one who has been led astray by these two hardened troublemakers.  So indeed, both of them now have to face Miss Svenson’s wrath.  You can imagine she is not impressed by what has happened one bit.  Without further ado each of the girls goes over her knee for another blistering, not only with her hard hand but also with the slipper.  There are again some great camera angles and the performance of the girls is wonderful in taking their punishments. Diana in particular is captured grimacing mid-spank on a couple of occasions. Superb!

And finally it’s a sound caning for both of them, skilfully carried out by each both of these exacting disciplinarians in turn with the girls looking lovely side by side as they take their strokes – very well I might add.

A truly lovely film.
